Middlesex County Parks Reopen After Storm Closures

The parks were closed as the nor'easter lashed NJ during the weekend.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ - Middlesex County has reopened several parks that were temporarily closed following a recent storm brought by the nor'easter, officials announced Tuesday.

As of Oct. 14, all county parks have resumed regular hours of operation after being shut down as a precautionary measure during severe weather.

  • Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in Sayreville
  • Alvin P. Williams Memorial Park in Woodbridge
  • Old Bridge Waterfront Park in Old Bridge
  • Donaldson Park in Highland Park
  • Johnson Park in Piscataway.

County officials had closed the parks to ensure public safety while assessing potential storm damage and hazardous conditions. With inspections complete and any necessary cleanup finished, residents can now return to enjoying these recreational spaces.
