MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — The Cornelius Low House Museum in Middlesex County is calling on the community to contribute to a significant upcoming exhibition that will explore the County's role during America's founding era.
The museum is actively collecting artifacts for "Caught in the Crossfire: Divided Loyalties in Middlesex County," an exhibition that will commemorate the 250th anniversary of American Independence through the lens of local history.
The exhibition will focus on three pivotal periods in American history: the Revolutionary War (1776-1783), the Centennial celebration (1876), and the Bicentennial commemoration (1976). Museum curators are particularly interested in artifacts that tell the stories of both ordinary and extraordinary individuals who lived through these transformative times in Middlesex County.
