Modern Mexican Restaurant Celebrates Grand Opening In East Brunswick

The restaurant brings unique flavor combinations to traditional favorites.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Los Bandoleros Tacos, a modern Mexican eatery with a BBQ twist, celebrated its grand opening Thursday at the Village Green Shopping Center.

The restaurant, which bills itself as East Brunswick's "first modern Mexican hand-craft kitchen," brings unique flavor combinations to traditional favorites under the direction of Owner and Executive Chef David Herrera, an East Brunswick native.

Township officials, including Mayor Brad Cohen and Economic Development Officer Rob Zuckerman joined Donna Balsamides from the East Brunswick Regional Chamber of Commerce for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony welcoming the new establishment to the community.

Los Bandoleros' menu features a creative mix of Mexican classics with contemporary influences, including wings, empanadas, elote (fire-roasted street corn), cauliflower bites, various tacos and quesadillas, burgers, sides, and desserts.
