Sir George Martin and the Beatles: An Abbey Road Medley

Learn more about the "Fifth" Beatle--their record producer Sir George Martin.

The Friends of the Library are celebrating the musical legacy of the Beatles on Wednesday, November 13 at 7:30 pm with the program "Sir George Martin and the Beatles: An Abbey Road Medley."

Join author Kenneth Womack for a special program devoted to the life and work of legendary record producer George Martin, commonly referred to as the “fifth Beatle” because of his extensive involvement in each of the Beatles’ original albums.

Dr. Kenneth Womack is a Professor of English and Popular Music at Monmouth University. He is the author or editor of more than 40 books, including Long and Winding Roads: The Evolving Artistry of the Beatles, The Cambridge Companion to the Beatles and The Beatles Encyclopedia: Everything Fab Four.
