Englewood Man Charged With Arson After Vehicle Fire: Prosecutors

An Englewood man was charged with arson after an SUV was set on fire, according to prosecutors.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — An Englewood man was charged on Wednesday in connection with a vehicle fire, the Bergen County Prosecutors Office said.

John Young, 33, was charged with two counts of second-degree aggravated arson as well as first-degree and second-degree certain persons not to posses a hand gun, prosecutors said.

There were no reported injuries.

Young is in custody in Bergen County Jail awaiting his first court appearance.

Police responded around 9:14 a.m. Tuesday to a 911 call about an SUV on fire.
