Englewood Man Charged With Sexual Assault: Prosecutors

An Englewood man was charged with sexual assault and child endangerment, according to prosecutors.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — On Feb. 16, an Englewood man was charged in connection with sexual assault and child endangerment, according to Bergen County prosecutors.

An investigation that ensued Feb.15 by the Bergen County Prosecutors Office Special Victims Unit and the Englewood Police Department alleges that John Ramirez, 31, sexually assaulted a child under the age of 16-years-old multiple times.

Ramirez was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact. He is awaiting his first appearance in court at Bergen County Jail.
