• Hunterdon County Commissioner Board Approves Appointments to Newly Created Improvement Authority (tapinto.net) — Flemington residents should know that Hunterdon County commissioners, meeting in town, have created a new Improvement Authority and appointed five members to guide it. Starting in 2026, this body will let local towns tap the county’s AAA credit rating to finance roads, vehicles, parks, and other projects more cheaply, potentially saving taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.
