Raritan Township Community Day & Car Show Returns Sept. 25

There will be a DJ, a cornhole tournament, a hula hoop Contest, kids' inflatables and a Fire Company burn demonstration.

FLEMINGTON, NJ — After being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Raritan Township Community Day & Car Show will return on Sept. 25 for its fifth edition.

It will be held at Lenape Park at 114 Route 523 in Flemington, from noon to 5 p.m. The rain date is the following day, which falls on a Sunday. Admission and parking will be free.

This year's event is expected to be bigger than 2019's. There will be a DJ, a cornhole tournament, a hula hoop Contest, kids' inflatables, a Fire Company burn demonstration, rescue squad extrication and a police department drunk driving course, along with other activities to be planned.

The organization is looking for sponsors and for food trucks, food vendors and non-profits who wish to sell food.

All non-profits within the Township and Flemington Borough are welcome to participate as booth exhibitors or entertainment, including local sports teams, clubs, philanthropic organizations, school-related groups, township departments and committees, recreational groups, first responders.

Volunteers for the day of the event are also needed, as well as entertainment such as cheerleader exhibitions, school bands, musicians and club demonstrations.
