Clambake and Wonderland Come to Freehold This Weekend

Whether you want live like Alice in Wonderland or pretend it’s a weekend on the Cape there is plenty to do in Freehold this weekend.

The CentraState Healthcare Foundation’s 52nd Annual Celebration Ball is set to be held on Saturday at the Encore Event Center. This year’s theme is An Evening in Wonderland and will feature a musical performance by The Time Machine Band. People in attendance can enjoy a variety of food and drinks as well as a silent auction. The event will also include the crowning of Queen of the Ball. Proceeds benefit the Star & Barry Tobias Women’s Health Center.

Also on Saturday the Freehold Knights of Columbus will host a New England Clambake starting at 6 p.m. The meal will include cole slaw, New England clam chowder, steamed clams, barbecued chicken, boiled potato and corn on the cob among other items.
