2 Killed After Car Crashes Into 2 Others In South Jersey: Police
A Hyundai Elantra crossed the center line and collided with two other cars, killing two people and seriously injuring a third, police said.
HAMILTON TWP., NJ — Two people died and a third was seriously injured when a driver crossed the center line and collided with two other cars Wednesday afternoon in the Township of Hamilton, police said.
Around 4 p.m., a 21-year-old Cedarville resident was heading west on Millville Avenue (C.R. 552) in a 2018 Hyundai Elantra when he crossed the center line into the eastbound lane, police said.
The driver crashed into a 1999 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 59-year-old Hammonton man and then collided with a 2019 Nissan Altima driven by a 59-year-old Atlantic City man, both of which were heading east, police said.

The three vehicles then came to a rest in the roadway, police said.
Both the Hyundai driver and the Nissan driver were pronounced dead at the scene. An adult passenger in the Nissan was airlifted to the hospital for serious injuries, police said.

Traffic was diverted around the area for about five hours Wednesday as the crash was investigated.
