3 Dead In Garden State Parkway Crash In Atlantic County: Police
The victims' car ran off the roadway and hit a tree after rear-ending another vehicle on the parkway Sunday night, state police said.
ATLANTIC COUNTY - Three New Jersey residents died Sunday night after driving into a tree off the Garden State Parkway in Atlantic County, authorities said.
The crash took place shortly before 10 p.m. on the Garden State Parkway South near milepost 44.6 in Port Republic, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police told Patch.
An initial investigation found that a Toyota and Kia were traveling southbound when the Kia impacted the rear of the Toyota causing the Kia to run off the roadway subsequently impacting a tree, state police said.

As a result of the crash, the driver of the Kia and two of three occupants sustained fatal injuries.
The victims were identified as driver Sabrina Kontos, 24, of Ocean Grove; and passengers Dion Bullock, 27, Asbury Park, and Omar Williams, 28, Eatontown, state police said.
