Driver Killed After Rear-Ending Garbage Truck In South Jersey: Police
The Egg Harbor Township man rear-ended the privately owned trash truck early Monday on Black Horse Pike, police said.
HAMILTON, NJ — A 64-year-old driver from Egg Harbor Township died early Monday after he rear-ended a garbage truck in the Township of Hamilton, police said.
Police responded to milepost 48 on Black Horse Pike at about 5:15 a.m. on Feb. 10 following reports of a crash.
William P. Hadley was driving a 2008 Lexus ES3 westbound when he crashed into the back of a privately owned trash and recycling truck driven by a 40-year-old Pleasantville man, also heading west, police said.

Hadley was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The garbage truck driver was uninjured.
Traffic was diverted for several hours as police investigated the crash.
