Galloway Police Arrest Absecon Man On Methamphetamine Charges

Jordan Ragland also attempted to elude police, but eventually surrendered.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Galloway police recently arrested an Absecon man after a traffic stop and charged him with distribution of methamphetamine and eluding, Detective Lt. Joseph Picard said.

Officer F. Gandhi arrested Jordan Ragland, 26, Absecon at 2:11 p.m. on Jan. 14 in the area of Robin Lane and Aloe Street. Gandhi tried to stop the 1999 Ford F-150, but Ragland kept driving behind Absecon Mills, where he struck a storage container, Picard said.

Ragland then fled the scene in the pickup and was apprehended by police at the end of Robin Lane. K-9 Officer Rocky conducted a vehicle search and found 224 grams of crystal methamphetamine, according to the police report.

Ragland was charged with eluding, possession of methamphetamine, first degree possession of methamphetamine and obstruction, and multiple motor vehicle violations.

Ragland was taken to the Atlantic City Justice Facility.
