Man Sentenced For Rape Of Sleeping Woman At Atlantic City Bus Terminal
The woman was asleep in the bus terminal lobby when Eric Williams sexually assaulted her, but it was caught on camera.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — An Atlantic City man will spend 12 years in New Jersey State Prison for raping a woman who was asleep in the lobby of the Atlantic City bus terminal, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced Thursday.
Eric Williams, 56, will also be required to register as a sex offender under Megan's Law and will be subject to parole supervision for life. His sentence is subject to the No Early Release Act, meaning he has to serve at least 85 percent of it before he reaches parole eligibility.
Williams sexually assaulted the adult woman in the lobby of an Atlantic City bus terminal on May 19, 2022, authorities said. He rectally penetrated her with his fingers and penis, according to officials.

While the woman was asleep at the time of the rape, the act was caught on the terminal's surveillance camera, which lead to Williams being arrested, authorities said.
