NJ Man Accused Of Stabbing Girlfriend Multiple Times At-Large: Report

Police are searching for a NJ man charged with attempted murder in connection with his girlfriend's stabbing, per a report.

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Police are searching for a South Jersey man charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses in connection with his girlfriend’s stabbing, according to a report.

Joshua T. Sammons, 26, of Minotola, allegedly stabbed his 27-year-old girlfriend while she was driving on Tuckahoe Road in Franklin Township, NJ.com initially reported. Sammons allegedly stabbed her several times in the face, chest, neck, back and arms with a folding knife, the outlet said, citing a criminal complaint filed by police.

The woman either recently left Sammons or was ending the relationship, the complaint added.

The victim was able to stop the vehicle and run away, NJ.com reported. Sammons also ran from the car and is still at-large.

The woman was hospitalized and is expected to recover from her injuries, the publication added.
