Employee Salaries, Equipment Purchase on Heights Council Agenda

A number of ordinances are on public hearing Tuesday at the Hasbrouck Heights council meeting including one which adjustments salaries of borough employees and authorizes the purchase of new equipment. 

The borough plans to use $190,000 from its capital improvement fund towards the purchase of new street sweeper equipment and also plans to bond for the majority of the cost towards a new vehicle for the police department. The borough is also putting roughly $300,000 towards more road improvements. 

A representative from PSE&G will be on hand at the meeting to address the concerns of the governing body and residents.
