Corpus Christi Yard Sale to Benefit Confirmation Candidates

The young candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation at Corpus Christi Parish will hold a giant yard sale and 50-50 in the Corpus Christi School cafeteria on Saturday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The proceeds from this sale will go to the Haiti Solidarity Network of the Northeast, an organization that provides assistance to our brothers and sisters in Haiti.  This is a service project undertaken by the boys and girls preparing to celebrate the Sacrament.

Among the items expected to be available are electronics, games, household items, toys, books and more.  A bake sale will also be held.

The Confirmation candidates will glady accept donations of items for the sale.  Items may be dropped off at the school cafeteria on Friday, March 30 between 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. (no earlier).  No clothing will be accepted, due to health restrictions.

The Haiti Solidarity Network of the Northeast was founded by Father Jack Martin, and is a New Jersey-based organization whose goals include providing financial support to Haiti, assisting them in self-help projects, publishing true information about Haiti, helping to strengthen their independence, and praying for their needs.
