The borough will one again host a paper shredding event on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Central Avenue parking lot.
Due to the success of recent recycling events the borough has decided to host this twice a year. In April 5,900 pounds of shredder paper was brought in that day, surpassing the borough's goal of 5,000.
Now the borough has a goal of 6,500 pounds for this November event. Councilman David Gonzalez who pledged to go in the dunk tank at this year's street fair if the borough brought in 5,000 pounds now pledges to do it again next May if the new goal is met.
