Two garden apartment complexes in Hasbrouck Heights recently sold for $57.5 million dollars, a transaction which NorthJersey.com called <a href="http://www.northjersey.com/community/announcements/164699246_Weiss_brokers__57_5_million_deal.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">one of the largest in Bergen County's recent history</a>. <a href="http://www.kushnercompanies.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Florham-Park based Kushner Company</a>, which owns more than 13,000 multi-family apartments, <a href="http://www.nj.com/bergen/index.ssf/2012/08/two_hasbrouck_heights_apartment_complexes_sell_for_575_million.html#incart_river_bergen" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">purchased Boulevard Apartments located at Boulevard and Church Street and Skyline Apartments on Terrace Avenue in July</a>, according to NJ.com. The complexes were previously owned by a partnership between Hekemian Co. and Herbert Klein the original builders, NJ.com reports.  The Moonachie-based Weiss Realty handled the major transaction, according to NorthJersey.com. The Terrace Avenue Skyline Apartments consists of 124 units within its 7-building complex; Boulevard Apartments has 214 units, the report states.
