Heights Apartment Complexes Sell for $57.5 Million

Both Boulevard and Skyline Garden Apartment complexes in Heights were purchased by Kushner real estate company for $57.5 million last month.

Two garden apartment complexes in Hasbrouck Heights recently sold for $57.5 million dollars, a transaction which NorthJersey.com called one of the largest in Bergen County's recent history.

The Florham-Park based Kushner Company, which owns more than 13,000 multi-family apartments, purchased Boulevard Apartments located at Boulevard and Church Street and Skyline Apartments on Terrace Avenue in July, according to NJ.com.

The complexes were previously owned by a partnership between Hekemian Co. and Herbert Klein the original builders, NJ.com reports.

The Moonachie-based Weiss Realty handled the major transaction, according to NorthJersey.com.

The Terrace Avenue Skyline Apartments consists of 124 units within its 7-building complex; Boulevard Apartments has 214 units, the report states.
