The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. This fall, the New Jersey Region hosted an 8-week fundraising challenge where leaders in the community challenge each other to raise money in the fight against cancer on behalf of our largest community event, Light The Night.
Local Leaders, Camille Menendez of Bristol Myers Squibb and Dr. Jamie Koprivnikar of John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, took on this year’s challenge and raised over $5,000 and $2,000 respectively for the mission. The LLS New Jersey Region is grateful for leaders like, Dr. Koprivnikar.

At Light The Night, it is our aim to bring light to the darkness of cancer through research and cures. Light The Night is a series of fundraising campaigns benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's funding of research to find blood cancer cures. We bring hope instead of despair by working to ensure access to treatments for all blood cancer patients. We bring communities together to celebrate those who are fighting the disease and to honor those we have lost.
