In the words of Middle School Class President Jason DiGiacinto, “once an Aviator, always Aviator.”
As DiGiacinto addressed his fellow classmates during their graduation ceremonies Friday night, he pointed out that they were no longer separated by labels as Euclid Eagles and Lincoln Leopards anymore.
Together they became Aviators, the Class of 2012. When they enter high school in the fall they will be the Class of 2016.

Family members filled the Bergen Academies auditorium in Hackensack Friday evening to see the graduating class of about 130 members move on to their next step – high school.
Megan O’Leary, Beta Club President, told her fellow classmates she will always remember the experiences that have made her who she is and she will bring those memories with her to high school.

Joseph Mastropietro, assistant principal who will now be Middle School Principal officially in the fall, reminded the class that graduation is seen as a coming of age and every year they will become a little more independent.
Mark Porto, superintendent, left the graduates with the message to think about how they can reach out and help others as community service is something they will need to do during their years in high school. He inspired them by sharing examples of three students from different parts of the country who each came up with ways that won them prestigious recognition. He reminded these graduates that each one of them has the potential to achieve such recognition as well.
As is a tradition begun by Principal Linda Simmons when she first came to the Middle School the previous school year, students Damian Carewicz and Dalia Jawabrah presented the class tile which now be displayed in the school hallway. The two students designed the class logo which reflects how they were once Euclid Eagles and Lincoln Leopards but now soar as Aviators.
