Updates On Field Work, Boulevard Construction Coming This Week

Reports regarding several improvement projects including the and the improvements are expected this week.

Borough officials are expected to award a contract for the work to be done at Depken field to replace the along the Franklin Avenue side when the council convenes Tuesday. As previously reported, work to replace the fence is expected to being shortly after contract is awarded.

Updates regarding the project, which began last month, should also come out of the Tuesday night mayor and council meeting. The sidewalks at a two block section of the Boulevard from Jefferson up to Hamilton were replaced over the past few weeks. The installation of brick pavers began last week.
