17-Year-Old Is Stabbed After Intervening in Fight
The incident occurred early Friday morning.
A 17-year-old man was stabbed with a stiletto knife in the area of Hoboken's skate park on Sinatra Drive, on Friday around 2 a.m, according to police reports.
Police encountered the man, when he was bleeding from his side, sitting in a car with a friend of his, according to the report. The victim then told police he had been stabbed, according to the report. The victim told the police he saw a man and a woman involved in a fight at the skate park, according to the report.
When the victim went up to them and told the man to calm down, police said, the boy in question became violent and swung his fist at him. The man then stabbed the victim in the side, according to the police report.

The man then got into a vehicle and sped north on Sinatra Drive, according to the police report.
No arrests were made and the case is still under investigation.
