3 Arrests In Connection With Drugs Distributed In Hoboken: Police

The arrests were the result of a two-month-long investigation by Secaucus​ and Hoboken police.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Three people were arrested during an investigation into drugs being sold to Hoboken residents, according to police.

Secaucus and Hoboken police worked together in a two-month-long investigation that culminated in the arrests of Hector Reveron, 41, from Secaucus, and Hoboken residents Ernest Walker, 37, and Angela Rodriguez, 27.

Reveron was previously arrested in July 2020 during a traffic stop regarding an active warrant, and was then found in possession of 34 bags of suspected crack/cocaine and three folds of suspected heroin, police said. He was charged with multiple crimes and later released.

Then in May, police got information that he was dealing drugs to Hoboken residents, setting off the joint investigation, according to police.

On July 15, Reveron was arrested at his Riverside Station Boulevard apartment. Police searched the place and found $9,423 in cash, which is believed to be a result of criminal activity, officials said.

Reveron was charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute heroin, two counts of distribution of heroin, three counts of possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of public housing, three counts of possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of cocaine, conspiracy to distribute cocaine and money laundering. He was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

Another apartment Reveron is associated with, in the 300 block of Harrison Street in Hoboken, was also searched and police found suspected heroin, more than 1.5 ounces of suspected cocaine and crack/cocaine, materials used to package narcotics for street sale and $362 in cash, according to police.

Walker and Rodriguez were in the apartment at the time of the search and were arrested, police said.

Both were both charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of public housing, possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Walker was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, while Rodriguez was released on a summons pending her appearance in court.

"Investigations of this magnitude can be time consuming and complex," Hoboken Police Chief Daniel Lobue said in a statement. "To the residents of the HobokenHousing Authority, I thank you for your continued patience, community support, collaboration and communication."
