HOBOKEN, NJ — Have you seen evidence of a full moon recently, such as people behaving oddly? Here's more.

Hoboken resident John Branciforte snapped this shot of last Friday's "beaver moon" rising over the Edge Observation Deck in Hudson Yards. He took it from Sinatra Drive in Hoboken.

"This is the final supermoon of four consecutive supermoons of the year," said the Old Farmer's Almanac. "This means that it will appear bigger and brighter than normal!"

Supermoons appear brighter and larger than usual because they're closer to earth. A "beaver moon" is the first full moon in November, called that because people "set traps before the swamps froze to ensure a good supply of furs for the winter," says Merriam Webster.

Since we're looking toward the skies, will the Northern Lights be back? Forecasters say not to expect much in the next few days (keep track here).
