Bier Garten Will Likely Open Second Friday of August

The long awaited Pilsener Haus Bier Garten on 15th and Grand Streets will likely hold its opening night on August 12, according to a spokesman of Pilsener Haus. 

And, even though many Hoboken beer lovers have been waiting since the Fall, it looks like the gates will be opened in a couple of weeks.

"They're now in the final stages of opening what is not only going to be a premiere drinking establishment," said Rich Eldert who is doing communications for the bier garten, "and it's also going to be a very good restaurant."

The Pilsener Haus' Facebook page has indicated that the opening was delayed because the owners had to wait for permits and inspections from the city.

"That stage has passed, successfully," Eldert said. And the bier garten is set to open without problems.
