City To Award $7.7M Contract for Sinatra Park Renovation
The city aims to have the soccer field ready by the Fall.

Hoboken's soccer field that has been unusable since September 2009 is scheduled to re-open by the Fall, according to a recent communication from Mayor Dawn Zimmer.
The city is proposing to award the $7.7 million contract to EIC Associates, Inc. This includes the restoration of the soccer field in Frank Sinatra Park as well as the walkway at Castle Point Terrace.
At Wednesday night's city council meeting, one of the city's engineers will be present, Zimmer has said, and urged the council to approve the contract.
