Crawl-O-Ween: Your Guide to the 2014 Hoboken Halloween Night Life Scene
More than 50 Hoboken hot spots will be hosting Halloween parties, costume events, and specials. Here's a guide for this year's pub crawl.

When the sun goes down, Hoboken nightlife will come alive as hundreds rush to the city to crawl from one Halloween bash to another around the Mile Square. Looking for family friendly events downtown? Click here. Here are some highlights of this year’s Halloween pub crawl and nightlife events..
Grab an orange jumpsuit and a blonde wig! The theme of the evening is ”Orange is the New Black” at the Brass Rail, which is known for it’s haunted atmosphere. The historic pub will also be giving out prizes for the scariest costume. There will be drink specials all night, and no cover charge before 11 p.m.
At its weekend bash, Maxwell’s Tavern will be offering drink specials and giving out prizes for the best costume, as DJ Patrice runs the show. Feeling the 80s this year? Onieals will be giving out costume prizes and giveaways for all the Madonnas, Cyndi Laupers, and Wayne’s World duos out there.

Tally-Ho Saloon on Washington Street is also hosting a Halloween bash. The best costume winner will win $300, the best group will win $200, and the sexiest costume winner will walk away with $100.
The Hoboken Social Sandbox is hosting a Halloween blowout and costume contest at Trinity. Each guest will receive glow stick necklaces that will entitle the pub-crawlers to drink and food specials all night. Looking for a pal to accompany you on your grown up trick-or-treat around town? The Sandbox will be giving out different color glow sticks for singles and non-singles.

Trinity will be awarding prizes for costumes. The sexiest costume gets $150 Victoria’s Secret gift card, and the best overall costume will win a $50 Trinity Gift Certificate. If you wake up the morning after Halloween with a hang over the size of the Great Pumpkin, you might want to head over to the Wicked Wolf Tavern on Sinatra Drive for the Bloody Mary Bar. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 1, the bar tenders at the tavern will be pouring Tito’s Vodka while guests can choose variety of mixes and garnishes at the Bloody Mary Bar.
