Date Set for Hoboken's Annual St. Ann's Festival
The Mile Square's most popular festival returns in a few weeks.
It's time for sausage and peppers. And . And music. You know what I'm talking about? It's time for the annual St. Ann's Festival.
The festival is organized by the Church of St. Ann on Seventh and Jefferson Streets. Thousands of people usually visit, both from in and out of town.
The Hoboken City Council approved the festival's dates during a council meeting last week, so it's official. Get your planners out and schedule your visits, because there will be a lot of performances.

The festival will take place in about two weeks, officially starting on Thursday July 21. Below are the key facts you need to know to plan your visits to the festival accordingly.
The first night—which has been deemed Italian night—will feature a performance by Hoboken's . Fontanelli performed last year too.

The second night—Hispanic night—will feature Ray Rodriguez y Swing Sabroso, a salsa band from New York.
On Saturday July 23, it's time for a returning favorite:
Sunday the 24th is officially "Disco Night," and will feature a performance by Carol Douglas, disco singer who became famous for the 1973 hit, "Doctor's orders." If you come to Disco Night you'll also catch The Trammps, one of the country's first disco bands.
