Don't Just Touch Anybody's Skirt, Or Else...

Three women got involved in an altercation over the weekend in Hoboken, according to police.

Next time you see a girl with a wardrobe malfunction, don't take matters into your own hands.

On Saturday morning, around 2 a.m., three women got involved in an altercation on First and River Streets, after one woman pulled down another's skirt, police said. But, she was only trying to help.

A 24-year-old Jersey City woman was bitten on her left ring finger on Saturday, as she was waiting for her car, police said, after she saw that the skirt of the woman in front of her—a 22-year-old from Lodi—was tucked into her underwear, police said. The Jersey City resident took matters into her own hands and pulled the skirt down, to help, according to a police report.

The Lodi resident thought the gesture was inappropriate and yelling, as well as a physical altercation followed between the two women and one friend, police said.

Both sides of the fight told police that the other one threw the first punch, according to the police report. The woman whose finger was bitten was transfered to the hospital, police said.
