Drawing in NJ Lottery Scheduled for Wednesday Night

The jackpot is currently at $245 million.

In case you're feeling lucky, there is still time to get your lottery tickets before Wednesday night's drawing of the Lottery, which currently is as much as $245 million.

NJ Lottery officials are urging Hobokenites to buy tickets at the on Hudson Place on Tuesday——to encourage people to buy lottery tickets.

But, as always, chances of actually winning the prize—which is being called "life changing" by NJ Lottery—are slim. The lottery is being played in 42 other states, by millions of other people.

But, in these difficult times, it's always a good idea to stay hopeful.

"We’ve already had more than 79,000 winners of prizes anywhere from $2 to $200,000 here in New Jersey," said Executive Director Carole Hedinger in a press release, "so we’re certain that the next days will be some very busy times for our retailers."
