Former Union City mayor Rudy Garcia was arrested and charged with driving under the influence last Thursday, according to police reports.
Garcia, 47, was caught driving under the influence on Paterson Plank Road around 10:50 p.m., according to police.
It was unclear how high the alcohol level was.
