Yeehaw!
Two bar owners obtained a license to install a mechanical bull in a midtown Hoboken bar.
The bar that was formerly known as Gaslight—located on Fourth and Adams Streets—will be completely revamped. The name of the bar will change too, but co-owners Kevin Bauman and Carlos Almanza didn't release any details about the changes.

"It's going to be brand new," Almanza said.
The revamped bar is scheduled to open in eight to 12 weeks, the owners said.

The closest mechanical bull in New Jersey is in Watchung. Multiple bars in New York City also have bulls. This will be the only mechanical bull in Hoboken.
The license to install the bull was approved by the city council on Wednesday night. First Ward Councilwoman Theresa Castellano was the only one voting against.
Public Safety Director Jon Tooke also expressed concerns.
"It does nothing to increase the safety and the welfare of the community," Tooke said. "I couldn't recommend it."
