Every year, during the Memorial Day season the Student Council purchases a wreath for the veterans of Hoboken. This year, the Student Council and the Hispanic Culture Club have raised additional funds to purchase a new flag for the school. Members of Hoboken American Legion Post 107 assisted the high school in retiring the older American flag and raising a new one.
This project couldn’t be possible without the assistance of all the Administration, Faculty, and Students who donated funds. Especially, the:
o Student Council (Barfield)
o Hispanic Culture Club (Munoz)
o Class of 2011 (Chodos & Deni)
o Class of 2014 (De Benedetto & Munoz)
o Mr. Joy
o Math Club (Tank)
o Audio/Visual Department (MacAulay)
o National Honors Society (Gomez)
o Game Club (Flood)
o African American Club (Blue)
We would like to thank the Hoboken American Legion Post 107 for their help and their reciting of the poem In Flanders Fields.
Mr. Enrico, Mr. Roman, and the Rockin Red Wings band for their wonderful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
