Hoboken: Home of Sinatra, Baseball And Reality TV

It's not just Buddy Valastro anymore. Check out this list of reality television starts living in Hoboken.

We all know the famous sign when we drive into town. You know, the one that calls Hoboken the birthplace of Frank Sinatra and baseball.

Of course we'll forever be proud of those things, because—really—who can beat baseball and Frank Sinatra?

Lately, however, Hoboken has become famous for something else: reality television stars. And we're not just talking about the Cake Boss either. We have so much more to offer. Begs the question, though, do we have the most reality television stars in one square mile?

1. Buddy Valastro

Carlo's City Hall Bake Shop has become the ground zero of Hoboken's reality television. Buddy Valastro, who took over the business from his father, has turned a small Hoboken bakery into a nationwide sensation with his reality show "Cake Boss." 2. The Manzo Brothers

Chris and Albie Manzo (not to be confused with Lou and Ron) are the new kids on the block. In case you haven't heard of them— because the dudes —they are the sons of Caroline Manzo, one of the real housewives of New Jersey. The two eligible bachelors recently got their very own show, ." Women of Hoboken: Chris and Albie have taken residency along the downtown waterfront and seem to be here to stay. For now at least.

3. Kim Kardashian

We know, we know. Technically this 21st century embodiment of Betty Boop doesn't live in Hoboken (yet), but she sure spends a lot of time in the Mile Square. Local media spot her all the time when she's hanging out with her fiancee Kris Humphries, who lives in the uptown Tea Building.

4. Brendan Heavy, Hell's kitchen contestant

NJ.com reported that 31-year-old Hoboken resident Brendan Heavy will be a contestant on the cooking show Hell's Kitchen. Patch wishes you good luck, Brendan. If anybody has skin thick enough to survive show host Gordon Ramsey's verbal abuse, it's a Hoboken resident.

5. Adam Poch, Big Brother contestant

Why leave the Mile Square to live in a house with complete strangers? One Hobokenite who can answer that question is 39-year-old Adam Poch. Poch is joining the latest season of Big Brother, according to NJ.com. Big Brother, which airs on CBS and originated in the Netherlands, is a show in which watchers at home get to take a sneak peak into a group of strangers' lives as they live together in a house under camera surveillance 24 hours a day. 

6. Bataglia's Home 

This uptown Home & Garden store was selected last year to be part of the HGTV show "Battle on the Block." The episode that featured the Hoboken store aired in May 2010.
