Hoboken Italian Festival Draws To A Close, More Events On The Way: PHOTOS

HOBOKEN, NJ — The 98th Hoboken Italian Festival drew to a close Sunday with a fireworks display that had been postponed from Saturday due to rain.

Despite the fact that New Yorkers apparently mistook the noise for gunshots, residents such as John Branciforte enjoyed the celebration. His photos are above.

Not The End: More Events Coming Up

This may be the last Hoboken festival of summer, but it's not the last local event. The city's traditional Spaghetti Block Party Dinner takes place this Thursday on the south waterfront.
