Police: Hoboken Man Arrested After Calling Officers Names

A 30-year-old man yelled at the police, according to reports.

Hoboken police arrested a 30-year-old Hoboken man on Sunday around 2:30 a.m. at First and Bloomfield Streets after he allegedly became violent to police officers, according to police reports.

James Lane, 30, walked by a police car on Sunday morning and allegedly said "you guys are a**holes," according to police reports. Police asked the Monroe Street resident to repeat his statement, reports said, and Lane yelled the statement again.

Police asked Lane for identification to write him a summons for disturbing the peace, according to the report. While police wrote the summons, Lane became violent, yelling and raising his arms right in front of the officer's face, according to the report.
