Hoboken Police Arrests Siblings for Simple Assault; Police Officer Punched

Hoboken police arrested a brother and a sister around midnight on Sunday for simple assualt and disorderly conduct, according to police reports.
Police were conducting an interview in the lobby of 400 Marshall Dr. when Alex Walker, 22, and Shanah Walker, 26, came out of the elavator, according to the report. Alex allegedly came out yelling obscenities, police said. While police as well as Shanah Walker urged the 22-year-old Hobokenite to leave the lobby, he kept yelling obscenities until a small crowd began to form, police said.
When police attempted to arrest him for disorderly conduct, Alex Walker began to run to avoid arrest, according to the report. After about 15 feet police caught him by grabbing on to his shirt, according to the report, when Walker began to swing his arms.

Walker then allegedly punched the police officer in the face, causing a laceration under the officer's right eye, according to police. Walker was then charged with resisting arrest and aggravated assault on a uniformed police officer, police said.
Once Walker was placed in handcuffs, his sister started yelling "you can't do s*** to me, I live here," police said. After she allegedly refused to stop yelling, police arrested Shanah Walker for disorderly conduct.
