Hoboken Police Chase Alleged Motor Bike Thiefs

The chase occurred on Friday morning around 5 a.m. Nobody was arrested.

Hoboken police was involved in a car chase on early Friday morning, in an attempt to catch two alleged motorcycle thiefs. 

Two Hoboken police officers saw two men load a 2006 Kawasaki A6F motorcycle into the back of a car on Friday morning, according to police reports. 

The alleged theft took place at 2 Willow Terrace, around 5 a.m., police said. Police approached the suspects told them to stop the car and the officers drew their weapons, according to police reports. The alleged thiefs didn't comply and drove off, police said.

They drove off in a black Cadillac Escalade, police said, at high speed and with the lift-gate open, according to reports. 

The stolen bike belonged to a 34-year-old Hoboken man.
