Hoboken Ranked in the Top 10 Places to Live in New Jersey

A popular real estate blog has named Hoboken the 9th best place to live in NJ, largely due to it's high median income and home value.

Movoto.com, a real estate blog that reports on stellar towns throughout the state, has named Hoboken the 9th best place to live in the state of New Jersey.

The Mile Square City owes its high score to its impressive home values and high median household income. According to the report, Hoboken residents make an average of $101,782 a year - 34 percent more than New Jersey residents across the state. Home values are also 48 percent higher than the state’s average.

“Hoboken is a great place to live, work, learn, and visit, and we’re honored to be voted the best downtown in Northern New Jersey,” said Mayor Dawn Zimmer told Patch when the city was named the best downtown in New Jersey earlier this month. “We thank everyone who voted for Hoboken and invite visitors to shop, dine, stroll our parks, explore our preserved historic architecture, and see why our vibrant community is the fastest growing city in the state.”
