Hoboken Summer Basketball League Coming to and End

You know the end of summer is near when the Hoboken youth basketball league is playing its final game.

After a scorching, sweaty summer, the league—organized by the Save The Youth Academy—is playing an all star game at Church Square Park on Friday evening at 7 p.m. Earlier this year,

“This particular league keeps our young people off the streets and mastering their skills,” said Hoboken Housing Authority Executive Director Carmelo Garcia. “With all the outside influences today, it is important to be passionate about something and to care about your physical and mental health.”
