Hoboken will commemorate the ten year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks at Pier A Park, against the backdrop of downtown Manhattan, on Sunday Sept. 11 at 6 p.m.

The theme of this year's annual interfaith memorial service to remember those who were lost on Sept. 11, 2001, is "A Time To Come Together, A Time To Remember," according to an announcement from the city.

The planned, permanent 9/11 memorial will not be finished before Sept. 11 this year. Bids for construction of the memorial are supposed to go out next month.
