A Hobokenite on a flight from New York City to Florida captured a rare shot from a shuttle being launched in Florida.
According to MSNBC's photo blog, Stefanie Gordon captured the photo from the plane about 30 minutes before landing in Palm Beach Florida.
"I would never expect to be that close," Gordon told MSNBC. "I didn’t grasp the magnitude until after the fact."

According to MSNBC, Gordon had fallen asleep on the plane. When she woke up, and saw the launch, she realized she didn't have her camera with her. "“Great," she told MSNBC she remembered thinking, "the one time I don’t have my camera with me."
She then took out her iPhone, took three photos and shot a 12-second video.
