Hoboken's Cake Boss Bakery to Honor Military Nationwide on Veteran's Day

Carlo’s Bakery, home of the reality series Cake Boss, will honor veterans and military personnel on Nov. 11 by inviting brave service men and women around the country to enjoy a free large cannoli at any Carlo’s Bakery location nationwide.

There will be no coupon required for the Veteran’s Day offer. Military personnel and veterans can simply present a military ID or proof of service to receive their free cannoli.

“All of us at Carlo’s Bakery are huge supporters of our military servicemen and women,” said Buddy Valastro. “We are grateful for their bravery and service and we are thrilled to celebrate them this Veterans Day and everyday.”

The historic Hoboken shop, which opened in 1910, has since gained a national audience as the setting of the popular TLC reality series, Cake Boss. Carlo’s Bakery is renowned for its delicious creations, hardworking staff, and family atmosphere.

The bakery will also celebrate one of its own, Joe Faugno, who served in the United States Air Force.

“As a fellow Veteran, I understand the sacrifice that is made by our men and woman serving in our Armed Forces. For me there are no words to express the appreciation I have for all that gave something to defend our great nation. Please take time on November 11th to thank a Vet and think of the ones who are serving today,” said Faugno. “Giving a cannoli to our Vets is one small token of the appreciation that my family can show our thanks to all that you do. For me, everyday is Veterans Day!”

The Veterans Day offer is available at every Carlo’s Bakery location across the United States. There is no coupon required to activate the offer, Veterans and military personnel need only present their military ID or proof of service while at their favorite Carlo’s Bakery location. The free cannoli offer can be redeemed during business hours on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11.
