Housing Authority Puts out RFQ for Engineers to Work on Mama Johnson Field
The project is supposed to be completed in the spring.

The Hoboken Housing Authority has put out a Request for Qualifications for engineers to start the ball rolling on renovations on Mama Johnson Field. The deadline for the RFQs is Jan. 25.
The HHA and the city council have entered. The According to a press release from the HHA, the money will be paid for by community development block grants and municipal bonds.
Mama Johnson Field, located on Jackson and Fourth Streets, and will receive a new drainage system, a new fence and new batting cages.

Hoboken Housing Authority residents have first dibs, but the field is also open to all Hoboken residents and ZogSports leagues. Mama Johnson Field is one of two fields in Hoboken currently available for sports games.
