Local Dog Up for Adoption

Are you looking for a pet? This dog is available for you.

You may see him around in his "adopt me!" vest: Peeps the dog. Its current, but temporary, owner Jaime Swanson can be seen walkin him around town.

"He is an amazing puppy and deserves the best so we just want him to find that home that he deserves," Swanson wrote in an email. Peeps is adoptable through A Pathway to Hope Rescue, where people who are interested can fill out an application.

Here is a little more about the pup, from Swanson:

Peeps was rescued from a kill shelter down south. He is playful, but calm. He loves to be around people and enjoys the company of other dogs as well. Peeps is working on his crate training and is mostly house trained. He has not had any accidents in his new foster home once he had adjusted to the schedule. He loves to play but also knows how to relax. He's happy snuggling on the couch or going for a walk. He rides well in the car and is learning basic commands as well as how to walk nicely on a leash.
