Man Dies After Falling in Hudson River
NJ Transit police and local law enforcement authorities responded Wednesday night.

An unidentified man fell into the Hudson River near the Erie Lackawanna terminal just after midnight on Thursday and died at Hoboken University Medical Center, according NJ Transit spokeswoman Courtney Carroll.
"Shortly after midnight, NJ Transit police responded to reports of a person in the Hudson River," Carroll said.
Carroll said no foul play is suspected, but it's still unclear how the man got into the water. The case is still under investigation.

Hoboken Police and members of the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps were also on the scene Wednesday night. According to Hoboken police, the man died after suffering from cardiac arrest. According to reports from the police radio, CPR was performed on the man.
New York Harbor Patrol was also notified. The case is now in the hands of NJ Transit police.
