HOBOKEN, NJ — A man was charged with harassment on May 6 for an incident involving two women at a Hoboken coffee shop late last year, police said.

Police say that just before 1 p.m. on May 6, a police officer arrested and formally processed Jon Allison, 36, of Hoboken, in connection with an incident on Nov. 27, 2024.

In that incident, multiple Hoboken police officers responded to a coffee shop at Eighth and Bloomfield streets on reports of "two people being attacked by a man," police said.

Police determined, after an on-scene investigation, that Allison followed two women and grabbed one by the arm.

"A struggle ensued and the woman fell to the ground," police said.

Allison was charged with harassment. He was processed at Hoboken Police Headquarters and ultimately taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, police said.
