NORTH BERGEN, NJ — A man was hospitalized and a woman was injured in a three-car crash in North Bergen on Monday afternoon, said prosecutors.

At approximately 2 p.m., according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office, police responded to a crash in the area of River Road and 74th Street.

Three vehicles were involved, prosecutors said: a Nissan Altima, a BMW X3, and a Lexus GX4.

The driver of the Nissan, a 59-year-old North Bergen male, suffered serious injuries and remains hospitalized at Hackensack University Medical Center, prosecutors said.

The driver of the BMW, a 28-year-old West New York woman, was treated for minor injuries at Palisades Medical Center, prosecutors said.

The crash is being investigated by the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, prosecutors said.
