A special meeting will be held Monday night after Council President Beth Mason called for more information regarding an about

"This Administration will not provide any further information while this investigation is ongoing," Zimmer wrote. "As soon as the FBI concludes their investigation, we will provide as much information as possible at that time."

The City Council was first informed about the investigation during a closed session during a council meeting in May. Mason has said that she wants more information about the investigation. Mason did not return multiple phone calls on Monday morning.

Details about the investigation remain unclear, but the FBI visited City Hall at least twice over the last month. On May 26, multiple FBI agents removed computers and documents from the city's Information and Technology office. The two employees who work in that office were suspended, after a pad lock was placed on the third floor office.

Councilwoman Mason has said that she thinks the city council should be privy to the same information as the mayor and other members of the administration.

Councilman Ravi Bhalla said he would not be attending the meeting because he was not properly notified and called Mason's request for more information "fairly obnoxious."
